West Michigan Food & Beverage Awards

Each year, the West Michigan Food and Beverage Awards celebrate excellence across the region’s vibrant hospitality industry—recognizing top chefs, mixologists, restaurants, bakeries, coffee shops, and more. With over 390,000 Michiganders working in hospitality (according to 2023 data from the Michigan Center for Data and Analytics), the industry plays a vital role in driving our economy and tourism. These awards not only spotlight outstanding talent but also inspire continued growth and excellence throughout the community. Interesting in joining our board? Email us your resume today! Our board terms are for 1 years’ time and are selected in April of each year. All time committed to The Tip Jar Foundation is voluntary and is not paid. Commitments include:

  • Interviewing Potential Scholarship Recipients
  • Planning and Executing West Michigan Food and Beverage Awards
  • Subcommittee Tasks Including: Marketing, Public Relations, Financial Planning, Accounting, Event Planning, Etc.

Requirements for Consideration:

  • Career experience in Food & Beverage, Hotels or other Hospitality organizations. Preferred 5 years+
  • Location based in West Michigan including cities such as Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, Muskegon, South Haven, Holland, Battle Creek and surrounding areas.
